Hello Online B and welcome to our class blog.
Blogging is one of the topics we will discuss in class and what better way to learn than to use a blog. We will use this blog throughout the term in a couple different ways.
It may be to respond to something we do in class. It may be to post work, or comment on other's work. A blog has many different uses. We also will have each of you create a blog so that you can see how easy it is.
Before we begin blogging there are a few ground rules!
1. All posts, must use appropriate school language and be completed in paragraph form. When you post, you should be using complete sentences with proper grammar and spelling. NO: U, R, UR, i, CUZ, etc.
2. When posting a comment, you may agree or disagree with another students comment. However, you must state why you feel that way and must do it in a manner that is polite and non-judgmental. The comments need to be non-personal and refrain from sarcasm and put-downs.
3. You must comment on every post, it is an assignment (unless otherwise stated).
4. You must address the topics and questions posted on the blog. You cannot simply write, “I agree.”
My name is Paytra Gessler. My favorite things to do are hang out with friends, sing, and sleep. My favorite place that I have visited is New York City because there is a lot to do there and your never bored. My goal after high school is to attend college in California or New york and persue a career in music. Ten years from now I will be still singing and playing music. The legacy that I would want to have is "The Girl who never Gave up." My family consists of my little sister, my mom and my dad. I love spending time with them and we always have fun. My favorite book is The Hunger Games because I love the suspense and action in it. My favorite artist is Alicia Keys. She's an amazing and creative pianist and singer. My favorite thing to do when not in school is run, sing, and play piano. The career that I want to pursue is a musician because it's my passion and always will be. The college that I want to go to is Julliard in New York because I would learn so much about music.

My family is comprised of my mom, dad, and brother. My mom is Filipino and she's strict yet she can be really outgoing. My dad has been in the Army for seventeen years and he's what has allowed me to travel as much as I have. My brother, Steven, is eight-years-old and annoying.
My favorite book is Looking For Alaska by John Green because it's a book with deep and controversial topics, yet the novel deals with these topics smoothly.

My favorite thing to do when not in school is to hang out with my friends.
I'm not quite sure about the career I want to pursue yet.
The college that I want to go to is The University of Michigan or an Ivy League school. I want to go to Michigan because it's not too far away from home yet I can be independent at the same time (also, it's the very place where Team Starkid once was), though I'm thinking about going to an Ivy League school because it will push me to be the best I can be and help me become successful in life.

ReplyDeleteHi, my name is Shyla Patterson! My three favorite things to do are eat, sleep, and cheer. My favorite place that I have visited is Cocoa Beach; it is relaxing, fun, and pretty. My goal after high school is to go to college for some sort of science and make a giant discovery. Ten years from now I will be settling into a new appartment, and I might just be getting out of college. The legacy that I want to have is, I don't know, I don't want a legacy. My family consists of two 20 year old sisters named Karissa and Carly, one brother who is 18 named Kaleb, a mom, a dad, a step mom, a step dad, and 4 step sibling that are all really old and I don't know them well. All of those options seem fun, and I'm interested in them. The college I want to attend is the U of M because I like their campus and I just all around like their school.

My goal after high school is to go to college and get a degree in psychology or medicine. Ten years from now I will be living large with a job as a doctor and be travelling around the world. The legacy that I want to have is being known as "that girl that could fly!" If that doesn't happen, I want to be known as a world famous surgeon.
